How many women are suffering in silence?

I have had an addiction to gambling for years. I finally have accepted defeat. I keep searching sites to find women that share this disease I can speak with. Society is basically saying mainly men go through this, but there are a lot of women like me suffering and not enough voices that represent us.

I lost everything and I'm finally telling my story.

I'm a woman in recovery. For a long time I thought I was going through this alone because you don't hear about women gambling. It's always guys at poker tables. It wasn't porker for me. It was slots. And it took everything. I made a video about it anonymously because I couldn't say this stuff out loud. I needed somewhere to speak and I invite anyone else to come speak their story too.
