I love when Logan eviscerates Rory in this scene
I am not a rory hater, in fact I adore her mostly. I think she’s a human with a lot of flaws.
However Logan was spot on here. Essentially telling her that she only has herself to blame and she needs to own up to her life. I also think Matt is a fantastic actor, and their physical chemistry on screen is great, mostly because of his skills IMO
Edit: I KNOW Logan is a class A jerk in this whole scene. This fact doesn’t negate her insinuation that he is at least partially to blame for her unhappiness. He isn’t.
Also, I understand his point about family pressure. Rory has so much support from her mom and grandparents and they would back her in any career she decided on, as long as it’s in certain acceptable parameters of utilizing her intellect.
Logan’s family only seems to want him in one position, to follow his father’s footsteps exactly and don’t want to entertain any other notion.
Please don’t worry about me, I know Logan is a pompous ass often, but I love his acting skills and his ability to put Rory in her place from time to time.
