I am in the market for a 2022-2023 S500 or S580. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I know the S580 is the v8 and is more powerful and accelerates faster but other than that, it’s essentially the same as the s500 no? And I am a conservative driver where I don’t drive fast or aggressively, also roads in Washington state are small and the speed limit seems to be slower than California for example.

Also, year after year I’m most likely going to spend more on maintenance for the s580 as well as gas (25mpg vs 20mpg). Wondering if anyone has any thoughts or insights into why the s580 would be better?
