Post ER- embarrassed & in pain

2nd IVF cycle and first ER. So grateful for all of yous posting after your experience, but man oh man, this was the most painful and uncomfortable I’ve ever been in my life.
I was given twilight sedation so I was in and out of it. I remember crying..like wet tears and sobs. When they wheeled me back into recovery, I was still crying. It was so embarrassing because I usually have a high pain tolerance. I also kept apologising multiple times for crying to my doc, RE, nurses and my HA.
The pain is so bad, worst cramps ever. I was given paracetamol after but didn’t help much. I’m better when I’m sleeping or lying down. Hurts to pee, stretch, walk, stand, cough or laugh. Gonna start stool softeners tomo.
I’m on electrolytes, salty food and lots of water (which I hate)
But I guess it was worth it, I got 27 eggs retreived!
