So, I recently rescued a 5yr 7 pound chihuahua from a family friend, and he isn't neutered shocking, I know. I'm 18 and broke. Just yesterday, I finally got my cats spayed for free through VCAS, which I'm super thankful for, but I don’t think I can put more than two pets on their list. I searched around and found that Ojai Humane Society was only $125 with a $25 deposit, so I booked an appointment. She called to confirm, but I missed the call. I quickly called back, and she seemed nice she also never told me her name but I confirmed the appointment and went on with my day. Later, I checked my voicemail and noticed she had left a message making comments about my dog and saying, "who tf approved this" because he's 5 years old. Mind you, I'm 18, and I rescued him from someone who didn’t care for him just a few months ago, and this was the cheapest neutering option I found in the 805 ($125). Please don’t assume. I will not be show up to the appointment, they can keep the $25 deposit, and I should have read the reviews about them killing other pets before booking. If anyone knows where else I can take him ASAP, let me know, please.
