Dear fellow Redditor,

I have been looking for a suitable soundbar for my home for some time now. I live in an apartment with a living room of 25 m². I have neighbors next to me and below me.

I currently have my eye on three different soundbars; I think they all sound great in the store. The question, of course, is how they sound at home.

  1. Samsung Q800D (€275)

  2. JBL Bar 800 Mk2. (€599)

  3. Klipsch Flexus CORE 200 (€449)

What I read in various posts is that many people are pro-Samsung. As you can see, there is also quite a price difference. They are all second-hand via Marketplace or through the store.

I have an LG 65B1 from 2021, so my TV does not have WoW Orchestra.

I won't be using rear speakers, but I do think JBL's idea is cool: placing the rear speakers on the couch during a movie, and then connecting them back to the soundbar for music. I just think that, because of the woofer on the bottom of the sub, the downstairs neighbors are going to be bothered by this more than with a 'normal' sub.

I look forward to reading your opinions. If you have any questions or need more information, please let me know.

Thank you!
