Khornate Detective
The artist is Rowan Holloway. I commissioned the piece really just to illustrate (ha, literally!) a minor bit of world-building for a Khornate society fan-project I have. In particular, a sort of snippet of a police-procedural story about a detective therein. I frequently reference people doing "the sign of the mighty" which I envision as a sort of distinctive vaguely fashy salute people in this evil society do, so I wanted to have an artist draw that so people know what it looks like. And I guess then I also wanted to think about what civilian wear would look like and between those two I ended up coming up with this. (What would chaos fashion be like? is an odd little minor obsession of mine!) Anyway, the Khornate symbology makes this 40k related, so thought I would post here in case anyone else would like to see a chaos civilian!
