Up to s4's "Ugly" in my rewatch, in which there is a camera crew following a kid going to have surgery to fix a facial deformity, and Chase basically falls to pieces as soon as there is a camera pointed his direction.

I'm just laughing at picturing the producers' reactions. They're following this kid and think they are going to get a heartwarming ugly duckling story... then they see a picture of his surgeon and think jeez, we won the TV jackpot, this guy is gorgeous. Then they actually meet him and realise not only is he stunning but he has a sexy accent. This documentary is going to go gangbusters if they market it right.

Then they point a camera at him and he completely falls apart, and no matter how much prompting/coaching they give him he can't manage to utter a sentence without sounding like a robot.

So they're stuck with trying to doctor the footage to make House, who isn't as conventionally attractive but is still hot, try to appear human. He's an absolute dickhead but at least he can act like a human on camera.

I love fake-documentary TV episodes and had forgotten they did it in this.
