I got a call yesterday from a company I have been talking to giving me an offer. I think I could ask for more, but this is my first job after graduating and had a hell of a time getting this far and don’t want to lose it. Another company I have been talking to is supposed to be getting back to me this week. I emailed my contact yesterday, but haven’t heard anything.

I would like to have a second offer to use as leverage/insurance for negotiating the first. I only have until tomorrow to accept. Should I just go ahead and accept as is, risk trying to negotiate, or keep waiting until the last minute for the second?
