I wrote some extra info on this bug ID post: (someone has now said this is a spider, but more information anyway). https://www.reddit.com/r/Bedbugs/s/1EU7DAb7Ck

Sydney Australia btw.

4 days ago I woke up with the bites in the pictures. I’m super used to mosquitoes biting me. They love me. I went to hospital as a kid for it. I played it off because they are EXACTLY like them, so no worries! There’s not to many anyways! WRONG!!!!! They are all over my body except where I’m consistently covered (underwear area, chest) But also my neck and my face have no bites.

Picture one was one night after I got the bites, and picture two is 14 hours after that.

Itching and crawling sensations are happening frequently but from around 11pm-5am its worse, making me think bed bugs (Also the pattern on my back in p1)

Now that someone ID’d that spider … could a spider have layed eggs over the summer in my room perhaps and now they’ve hatched and attacked me? I do not know anymore. I am exhausted. 😔

Thank you in advance.

Edit: If this is a spider, what kind??

So this all started about 4 days ago when i started getting bites ALL over me (apart from my face, mostly my neck, chest and underwear area). most of the bites are in lines and concentrated areas but there are also a few stray bites here and there. itching mostly at night from the hrs of 12-6 am. which makes me think theyre bed bugs.

This is the only sighting of a bug ive seen. I genuinely feel like Im going crazy because this doesn’t look like a bed bug to me.. what do I do? Is it worth it to invest in all diy at-home methods, and a professional to get it done quick while my house isnt completely infested? and if i wanted to stay at someone elses place temporarily, how would I avoid infesting them too? Thank you in advance 🙏

This is in Sydney Australia btw
