I’ve been trading normally all week. I’m just starting out so I’ve been setting my position the same way for a while now.
1 lot, $50- Risk, $250 TP
I use C Trader on a Pritom Tronpad L10. I was just fine yesterday, I have noticed that C Trader has made some updates but they all seem good so far. Today I go to set my position and for some reason every number I type in keeps changing. It’s like my position is automatically resizing itself.
I usually start by adding the position to the screen the same way you would add lines or a text box. When it opens it typically defaults to 1000 risk & reward at some random number of lots like 35. Then I tap the order tab (middle button) select market and adjust my lot size. Then I tap the calculator button and adjust my risk and reward numbers and go from there.
For some reason today it keeps mirroring my risk and reward. It also keeps changing my lot size to random numbers like 145. Whenever I type in risk -65 it will automatically change my reward to 64.7 or some random decimal thats just shy of my original input. Vice versa when I do my reward first. The thing that confuses me the most is the way the lot size is changing. It will completely disregard whatever number I type in. When I’m putting in the numbers for my reward it will say something like0 .7, or 0.54 lots. But then when I’m putting my risk numbers in it will say some crazy number like 803 lots. The risk and reward numbers I can probably deal with by just dragging the lines when I enter. But the lot sizing is a problem. It happens the second I push either button no matter how much I change the size, and it always reads as if I’m risking a crazy amount of lots while the reward number is so small. Maybe I should’ve just taken a video but I’m hoping my explanation is clear enough to understand.
My questions are:
has this happened to anyone else?
is there some kind of automatic resizing setting that I’m unaware of?
I scoured through all of the settings and even logged in on the website but I couldn’t find any setting that would help with this.
