Symptoms finally showed on emptying study

I’ve been having gastroparesis symptoms for almost 3 years, and I had my first emptying study done in the thick of my original symptoms in 2024. I wasn’t able to eat all of the food, so they told me the test was inconclusive due to the emptiness of my stomach being overestimated because of the small amount of food I was able to eat. Due to some insurance issues, I wasn’t able to get a repeat test until about a month ago, and I was able to eat all of the food this time. The results came back with my stomach being only ~30% empty after 4 hours. While gastroparesis is not a good diagnosis to get, I’m really glad that I finally have an actual diagnosis after dealing with this for almost 3 years.
