I am a 25-year-old male who underwent ASA (Advanced Surface Ablation) around six months ago. Since the procedure, I’ve been experiencing ongoing vision issues that haven’t fully resolved.

I still struggle to read small fonts clearly, and my eyes take time to focus, especially when reading from moving objects or trying to recognize faces at a distance. I also notice shadowing or ghosting of text when looking at objects farther away, and overall my vision does not feel sharp or crisp.

I have consulted doctors, and they mentioned that recovery can take more time. However, given that it has already been six months, I am concerned about whether this is still within the normal healing period or if it could indicate something else.

Has anyone experienced similar symptoms this long after ASA? Did your vision improve over time, or did you require further treatment or evaluation?
