Toddler red curly hair help
Greetings all! I come from a family of very straight hair. I couldn’t hold a curl to save my life, so I’ve never had to learned how to manage curls. But nature gifted me a very feisty red headed curly haired little girl.
She’s almost 2 and I thought these curls would straighten out as her hair grew out. If anything, they’ve gotten more curly. I have no clue what type of curls these are. Type 2c, 3c??? I can’t even guess. When wet, it goes past her arm pits, so it’s pretty long; just very curly.
How do you keep it from getting tangled and matted? And what kind of products? And Im assuming there’s a routine, how often does it need to be done? There’s sooooo many products to choose from also and different combs and brushes. It’s so confusing but I’m trying to learn. Is there like a curly hair resource guide or something?
