So the other day I asked about mini drivers. Some scoffed at a mini driver as a marketing gimmick. Others said learn to hit driver (I’ve tried) or just hit 3W.

I bought one and let me tell you: this thing is a weapon. I may never touch my driver again.

Not only am I not giving up distance, I’d say on average I’m gaining distance with a tighter dispersion. It’s just easy to hit man. There are way fewer bad shots and my longest drives are basically the same.

I won’t get into numbers because it’s all relative, but I’m not a short hitter

I don’t know if my swing is just more suited for a 3Wood / Mini..or if it’s the shorter shaft… but its 10X easier to hit. The driver has always been so inconsistent for me. Some days, it’s great. Other days, it makes me want to quit.

Regardless, if you’re inconsistent with driver, I’d 100% go hit a few minis and see what your numbers look like. Could surprise you
