Help sourcing an old recurve: repost

I got this old recurve at an estate sale for 30 bucks, it's got bear printed on the side, and a serial number, but I can't place the model, or even find another that looks similar. Is it custom? Did I do good for 30 bucks? Should I even string something this old?
