Looking for collaborators for a paper on Armenian indigenousness
Hi everyone,
I am an Armenian-American working on a passion project paper, and I am looking for collaborators with a background in history, political science, anthropology, or related fields to help me refine it.
The paper is called "The Source Principle," and it explores how we define indigenousness, specifically within the Armenian Highlands. As an Armenian, I find the current global definitions of indigenousness messy, highly politicized, and undermining to those with a deep connection to the land. Dominant states often use "flattened" identities (like "Anatolianism" in Turkey) to erase specific indigenous heritages.
I am not a historian or political scientist myself. While I have the core concepts and a solid draft ready, I want to ensure the paper has the academic rigor and historical backing it deserves. If you are passionate about decolonial frameworks, cartographic justice, and reclaiming our history, I would love your help refining this.
This is a passion project, and anyone who collaborates will receive full co-author credit. I have a Google Doc ready to share for collaborative editing.
