unpopular opinion: was it only me who noticed that almost every work from 2025 till now has used ai more than necessary in writing?

well thing I'm trying to convey it that lately I mean since 2025 I've been noticing a wide range of authors either in published books or ao3 works or Wattpad books etc. have used ai most specifically ChatGPT assistance in their works. for example, last year I came across a published book and at first the story was genuinely interesting but at some point, the writing in it lowkey started to scream ChatGPT and I stopped reading it mid-way. I know the authors can argue that it's their idea and they are just using ChatGPT and other ai tools to convey it. but genuinely u can write it down, right? I mean why using ai in your works? WRITE IT DOWN! convey your ideas by yourself not through some ai tools. As a person who enjoys reading works written by humans, I genuinely can't stand these ai influenced writings.
