So I have searched (in the fall) and now in the spring and I can't get a solid answer to this question/issue I have with my TPMS malfunctioning each time I switch my tires.
I used to swap my winter boots onto my OEM rims but last fall I bought some nice winter rims and TPMS sensors. My buddy had a bit of an issue with the sensors hooking up but we got it to work. Now here we are in the spring and I was just hoping to drop the summers rims and tires on and BOOM...oem sensors register a malfunction after about 20hrs or driving (worked fine up until then).
I have tried reinitializing it, with the button under the steering column but I can't get the malfuntion error to disappear.
So here is my question. What do all of you guys do with your winter/summer swap overs and how the h*ll do you get the the sensors to hook up each season without it being a total PITA?!
