What’s up everyone. I see a lot of people asking for QC help, and 90% of the time, we are all just zooming in on logos, stitching, and tags. That's important, but I wanted to share a tip that has saved me from shipping out trash quality items: Start checking the weight.
A piece can look 1:1 in a satellite photo, but if the material is paper-thin, it’s going to feel cheap in hand and ruin the fit. Here is how I use Hipobuy’s warehouse weight stats to guarantee I'm getting a good batch.
1. Know what it should weigh
Before you even order, try to find out what a high-quality version of that item weighs. If you are buying a heavy winter jacket or a thick streetwear hoodie, it needs to have some mass to it.
2. Check the Hipobuy QC stats immediately
As soon as your item hits the warehouse, don't just look at the pictures. Look at the weight measurement Hipobuy provides. For example, I recently had a heavyweight hoodie land in the warehouse. Before checking the tags, I checked the weight—it came in at exactly 1249g. Seeing that number instantly confirmed the fabric composition was thick, solid, and accurate to what I wanted.
3. Use weight to compare batches
If you see two different sellers offering the same piece, but one weighs 800g and the other weighs 1200g, you instantly know the heavier one is using thicker, better materials. It makes choosing the right link way easier.
The Takeaway:
International shipping isn't cheap. Don't waste your shipping money on lightweight, flimsy items just because the logo looks okay. Use Hipobuy’s scale measurements to verify the material quality before you put your haul together.
Hope this helps some of y'all build better hauls!
