Background: I grew up speaking English with the rest of my family speaking Spanish and am have an elementary understanding and speaking ability in Spanish. This year I have decided to take learning Spanish seriously and gotten with a tutor. Something I really struggle with is using the correct definite article while speaking, for example: el tienda, la telefono, etc. I know when I'm writing or texting in Spanish what correct definite article to use but when I'm speaking I feel like I don't think about it as I am speaking and a random definite article will come out of my mouth.

Not sure if this a relatable struggle. Tips appreciated.
