I need some help deciding which vacuum to gets I have it narrowed down but I just can’t seem to pull the trigger on either. Also want to say my house is 1800sq ft and this robot will cover about 1000sq ft. I plan to get one for upstairs to tackle the carpeted bedrooms
I have narrowed it down between the Dreame X50 Ultra and the Roborock Saros 10R and would love some real-world feedback from people who actually own them.
House setup:
Maple hardwood floors
Tile
Wool Persian rugs with tassels/fringe
Various throw rugs and mats
1 Labrador
2 cats (1 long-haired, 1 short-haired)
So… LOTS of hair 😅
One other factor is my house layout is pretty tight with a lot of corners, furniture, transitions, and areas where I need it to get close along edges/baseboards and maneuver well without constantly getting stuck or missing spots.
My biggest priorities are:
As hands-off as possible
Good with pet hair
Not constantly getting tangled on rug fringe/tassels
Good obstacle avoidance
Reliable dock/self-cleaning
Strong vacuuming on rugs while still mopping hardwood/tile well
Good edge/corner cleaning and navigation in tighter spaces
I care more about real-life performance and long-term annoyance factor than spec sheets or marketing.
For people who have used either (or both):
Which one handles pet hair better long term?
Which gets stuck less?
Which is better around Persian rugs/tassels?
Which gets closer to edges/corners?
Any regrets?
Which app/software has been more reliable?
Price honestly isn’t the deciding factor at this point. I just want the one that will make me babysit it the least 😂
Also I know these things are huge and I don’t have a ton of wall space not sure if that leans one way or another.
