Can I do better?

Currently testing a new stock hairline we just received from our partner factory in China.
Honestly very impressed with the knot bleaching. They recently started using German chemicals and the knots are basically invisible even under direct light.

5 years ago I walked out of a “professional salon” with a horrible hairline and £500 less in my bank account (last pic). Since then I became obsessed with understanding what actually makes a hair system look undetectable.
In my opinion the hairline is EVERYTHING.

Still testing this unit long term, but honestly this is one of the cleanest stock hairlines I’ve had in years.

Yesterday I had a session with a client in London.

He was spending ~£150/180 every time for his base to be cut at a salon, and most of the time they were actually ruining his hairline and the system itself.

We went through it together and honestly… it’s not as complicated as people think. There’s a learning curve, but it’s 100% doable on your own. I was scared too the first time I did it years ago.

Also the biggest mistake I see isn’t DIY alone, but it’s starting with a poor quality system often supplied by salons. You don’t need them.

Thick bases, high density, bad hairlines… those are what make everything harder.

If you start with a proper unit, the whole process becomes way easier and the result looks 10x better and at least 4x cheaper.

Learn to cut your own base, understand your system, and you’re not dependent on salons anymore.

That’s where the real savings (and better results) come from.
