I built a Chrome extension called ClipHold.

The idea is simple:

Every website gets its own separate saved space automatically.

When you save something from a site, ClipHold groups and loads the data specifically for that website.

So instead of one huge messy bookmarks list, you get organized site-based storage like:

  • YouTube → saved videos & timestamps
  • Reddit → saved posts & research
  • GitHub → code snippets & repos
  • Amazon → products to check later
  • ChatGPT → prompts & ideas

You can save:

  • notes
  • links
  • selected text
  • screenshots
  • files

Everything syncs across devices and becomes searchable instantly.

It also supports:

  • tags
  • real-time sync
  • Google Drive storage
  • public/private sharing

The goal was to make saved content feel contextual instead of dumping everything into one folder.
