Blayzer Prescription Glasses – Great Look, but Sliding Issues
I’ve had my prescription Blayzer glasses for about two weeks now. I was really excited to get them because they look much more subtle and elegant compared to the Wayfarer.
Before that, I had the Wayfarer Gen 2, and it took quite some time until they fit perfectly. In the end, the best solution was the tip with placing a small piece of electrical tape between the temple arm and the frame near the hinge.
Now I received the Blayzer with my prescription, and at first, I was really impressed. However, after a few days, I noticed that the glasses started slipping—especially when I sweat a little or after applying face cream.
Unfortunately, the electrical tape method doesn’t work with the Blayzer because it has a spring hinge. My optician slightly adjusted the temple arms at the back, but that didn’t really improve the fit either.
I also ordered some rubber temple tips from Amazon, but with those, the arms stick out so much that they actually start hurting behind my ears.
Maybe someone here has had the same issue and found a good solution.
Otherwise, I’m honestly considering switching back to the Wayfarer.
I also added a photo where you can clearly see the issue. Both are standard sizes.
