Today in the mail, my wife got delivered (her correct name, correct address, correct phone # on the package) a sample of a hair extension. The shipping company is Uniuni, and it claims "From Tiktok Inc."

Neither of us have a Tiktok account, nor are we creators on any platform. The only thing I could find when I searched Google for stuff like "Randomly sent hair extension sample from Tiktok scam" were posts talking about small business owners being scammed to send multiple sets of samples to creators who never post a review. That is obviously not our situation.

We checked with her sister, who denied trying to get anything like that. I checked my bank account just to make sure we didn't get any weird charge related to this. Is there any issue with just throwing it away? Would it be better to return to sender, somehow? The main thing we're worried about is how Tiktok has all her info despite her not having an account or even the app downloaded.

Thanks!
