Possibly unpopular opinion, but can people stop making illegal left turns from the right lane at the Fauntleroy Ferry?

The two lanes are clearly marked, left turn and right turn. Honestly lucky to not have been in more accidents from someone who fails to recognize that at worst, turning right adds 3 minutes of time to turn around.
