Hello all. After 4 years at Pebble Creek, I broke my lease early and moved across the state. My SIL runs a cleaning company in Lynchburg and she professionally cleaned my apartment for me. I personally saw it myself and knew it was cleaned up great for the next renters.
However, a large chunk of my deposit has not been returned. They claim it’s due to the state I left my apartment in. When probed, I was sent images of an apartment that wasn’t even mine- with furniture and trash bags in it.
I know Pebble Creek has had a lot of issues in the last few years with management decisions and sketchy behavior. I would like to settle this outside of court, but I do want my deposit back. Especially considering I paid my SIL $350 to clean our place.
