I'm sure people get sick of these posts so I apologise but I don't know where else to talk about this.

So I've always been a 'picky eater', but lately it has gotten worse. I'm curently trying to gain back weight that I have lost but it's been exceedingly difficult. I've had the typical timeline of foods as some other autistic people. chicken nuggets always being safe, periods where i really like a food then afterwards I hate it, slight differences in food I usually eat throwing me off completely, 'if its not done a certain way then its not good', and food that I just hate for some reason (eg. salsa, bbq sauce, mayo despite the fact i like the taste of it, mustard etc)

Unfortunately it's gotten to the point where I don't eat the dinner thats been made for the house most nights. I'm pretty dependent on noodles and up n gos for staving off the feeling of hunger but obviously I can't live off that. I've been trying to find easy meals/food that is healthy for me, so far a dead end.

My only big deterrent that I may possibly have ARFID is that it only got bad to the point of weightloss after starting adhd meds. I'm on vyvanse and a side effect can be loss of appetite. now when not being on vyvanse for a few days the 'pickiness' doesnt get any better but I am worried that maybe it is just my vyvanse, which would mean i probably have to get off them permanently 😭

anyway I'm probably going to bring it up with one of my doctors but just want some input
