Hochschule Rhein-Waal (Apititud Test)
Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply for the M.A. Design and Interaction at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences for the Winter Semester 2026/27.
I have a bachelor's degree in BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) and a strong interest in UI/UX design, interaction design, and game-related creative work. I’m currently preparing my application for the aptitude test and would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this process.
I have a few questions:
How difficult is the aptitude test?
What kind of project idea (exposé) did you submit?
What makes a project idea stand out?
How important is the portfolio in the selection process?
What are the most common reasons applicants get rejected?
Do applicants from non-design backgrounds have a good chance if they have a strong portfolio and project idea?
How long did it take to receive your aptitude test results?
Any advice, examples, or personal experiences would be incredibly helpful. I’m very excited about this program and want to submit the strongest application possible.
Thank you so much!
