So my car has been sitting for a while. There was some damage to the suspension in the rear passenger side. Not that fixed. Started the car fine and decided I was going to take it for a little drive to the gas station to put more gas in to give it a chance to idle and do its thing and maybe drive it around a bit. Got to the gas station and right as I'm pulling into the pump it dies while I was still moving. Very minimal and locks up and just stops. I think that it's just a dead battery because it said that charge battery immediately so I tried jump starting it that didn't work. The car stayed in Anon running position and it said shift as a message on the thing like it wasn't registering that it was in park and allowing it to start. I force overrided it into neutral with this screw on the bottom to get it to move towed it home charged it. The battery said fully charged. I sat in the car for maybe 10 minutes. The car still wouldn't start and the battery died fairly quick. I charged it again and it still did the same thing. I disconnected the battery after I said fully charged and let it set for 15 minutes and went and got gas. Put some in it and then reconnected the battery and it's still won't start. I'm hoping that you guys might know if I replace the battery will that fix all of this or is my car just kind of screwed?
