Hello everyone, this is my first reddit post i have ever made so sorry if this is formatted weird or if anything is wrong with it. I'm looking for opinions on whether or not i should keep on developing my RPG Maker Mv game and if anyone is interested in playing it.
the game is called "Acute Dawn" and the idea of the game is that you are a fisherman in space that crash lands on a strange planet that's being taken over by a hostile alien from a meteorite.
you catch fish in the ocean and use them as weapons against the inhabitants of the planet who are being corrupted and controlled by the evil meteorite alien.
there's also gonna be quests and puzzles n stuff! there's gonna be a questline about a big crusade between the different denominations of the strange local religion called "Nembrotism"
the games art style is completely insane and i honestly love it despite how ugly it can look at times, many of the sprites are edited pictures of my pet cats and real life objects.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT EVERYTHING YOU SEE HERE ARE EARLY ASSETS THAT ARE UNFINISHED AND WILL PRB LOOK BETTER IN THE FINAL GAME IF IT EVER COMES OUT!
i have been developing it alone since october of 2025, not much progress has been made (most of that time was spent on learning how to use rpg maker and MV3D) and i am slowly losing interest in continuing development on it. please let me know if the game looks cool or not and if you want me to make the full game, thank you kindly.
