The langlern app

Hello everyone, I’m the developer of Langlern. In middle school I really enjoyed learning French, and I continued studying it throughout high school. I also started learning Spanish in high school, and through both my experience in school and learning on my own, the idea for Langlern started to form.

In 2020 I started college and began taking programming classes. The idea of turning my thoughts into an actual app really intrigued me. Unfortunately, the first few years of classes weren’t enough to get me to the point where I could build the app I envisioned on my own.

Over the last year I’ve been working hard to finally bring this app into reality. Now that it’s released, I’d really appreciate any feedback on what you like, what you don’t like, and what you think could be improved.

Whats something you wish language learning apps did better???

Having used many language learning apps, I always notice how they tend to teach more touristy words and so when trying to consume content these words never show up and it frustrates me. I also feel like none really have direct ways to practice and learn grammar and so I'm always left confused when constructing sentences.

What are some things that you guys think would make language learning from your phone better?
