I'm trying to find a professional to help with some home repair work i really don't want to DIY and have been turned down by a few local contractors for having 'too small of a job'.

I'm in Linthicum MD.

The main thing i'm trying to get fixed is rotting trim and frame around a window that is inside a shower. I had a window company come specifically to fix it and they said they could do it just fine then just put a new window in the frame and half assed put caulk on the rotting wood.

The window is in a tiled shower with wood trim. You can see what i think is part of the exposed house frame the window sits in but i'm not sure if its also trim and do not want to start ripping things apart. The trim and visible 'frame' is rotted and completely soft to the touch.
I want to get the rotting parts replaced, make sure there is nothing wrong in the wall and get waterproof, non-wood, replacements.

Thanks for the help. I'll see if i can post pictures after the main post since it seems locked.
