A bit of my background

12th: 72%

UG: 7.0 (mech, tier 69)

pots UG first stint sales engineer at a German firm in Oil & Gas, 2yoe. (b2b industrial sales, consultative, application engineering)

Salary went - 13k - 19k - 40k

But i wanted to start a business sometime bug had no idea to work upon so i figured I could do an MBA until.

I wished to stay in sales so I got into an average german public uni for mba. I focused on industrial sales, marketing, international business. No financial focus. 15L / 4sem program

My first internship was in Mercedes Benz HQ in strategy around 2Lpm

Later at a swedish group i did a special business challenge program under a VP and wrote a masters thesis there. Salary was around 2.7lpm

I graduated in 5 semesters last year June.

I found a full time role in an American firm in Germany for leadership development program. 3years and 3 rotations. Pay is around 75Lpa with bonus base 65Lpa

I work with the European leadership reporting to sales VP. I work with business unit directors.

I am in a tight cohort of 4-5 trainees annually. The exposure is good, very high autonomy, work is cross functional and interesting. I get to travel within europe and also have fun. Culture is relaxed wlb is great.

The trajectory looks good, very dynamic and could see myself in director level at 7-8 year mark

I never studied that hard in life, never participated in the rat race. I had a lot of fun in Europe party drinking vacations great food, cultural immersion.

It feels like a legit cheat code to life. The roi was insane. Apartt from money, it enriched my life with experiences and lifetime memories.
