Feeling lost, burnt out and depressed (21m)
Been working at a ME for about two years honestly I hate it. Only reason I still work there is because I need to support my wife through school and we have a 18 month old son. Just looking for encouragement. Have interviewed at other jobs and they pay the same and if they pay more they can’t guarantee my hours due to being a male therapist. End goal is to work for myself but that just isn’t possible at this time in my life. Our location has this pay scale so the way to get the highest pay is by working 30 Massage hours a week, so part time somewhere else would be harder. The pros are I like my manager and I am always booked so that is nice. Not really looking for advice but just wanted to vent. I do love massage still just not the way ME does it.
