I’m quite annoyed that I just went to Marshall’s in Chicago looking for some sort of a hanging basket. They didn’t have any but they had several tiered metal baskets you’d put on a counter. Not what I want but meh, I’ll look.

Then I saw a broken 2 tier basket that I could cut a piece off, drill some small holes, connect a chain and make the hanging baskets I was looking for.

They refused to sell it to me and told me it’s against Marshallls policy and that they have to “be seen destroying it” and “seen putting it in the compactor”

I literally want to buy this item and keep it out of a landfill but they won’t sell it to me.
