5800 miles Road to Defender Trophy and Back
In the spirit of the original Camel Trophy, my wife and I drove my most comfortable and most reliable 2023 Defender 110 X Dynamic SE from Texas to Vancouver, BC, Canada and back in 20 days. In doing so, we used OnX map to find the majority off-road trails. This vehicle had traveled through sand, rock, mud, flood water, and rough terrain. It had taken me to the bottom of Palo Duro Canyon in Texas to the peak of Pike Peak in Colorado and across the salt flats in Utah. We spent most nights in the beautiful mountain, forests, desert, sandstone hills, and lakeside. We even took a dip in a hot spring in Oregon. Along the route, the only traffic jam we encountered were animals crossing. Most memorable monument was a mustang trying to cross the trail. Overall, it was an amazing trip and an awesome experience driving the modern Defender.
