Just got my new Enduro 3 :)
I started with two Forerunner 305s to paddle (used to race outrigger canoe, now I race marathon canoe). Then got a FR 230 which I loved for xc skiing but ended up replacing with a FR 920XT for paddling due to having the SUP activity which tracks stroke rate while the 230 doesn't. I then got a Vivoactive 3 to wear as my normal watch. Then went to the 245 Music for regular wear and skiing. 2 years ago bought the 955 which has been my 24/7 watch since. I got the 970 in white last week but ended up returning it as I really want always-on seconds and I wasn't in love with the look either. Ordered the Enduro 3 and I love it! My 955 is still in great shape except for the start button having lost its "cover" a year ago but I'm a sicker for watches.. And as much as the colours look great on AMOLED watches, I think MIP is just better for me given I want to be able to see my watch well while training and racing canoe (its strapped to my boat thwart) and it has always-on seconds.
No need to comment you think it looks too big on my wrist. I personally love it and I even find my 245 too small now. Just waiting for a teal silicone band that will match the watch face... And quick fit adaptors for the ultra fit band.
I may get tempted again by the 970 in black this time but only if it goes on a bigger sale than now. But I'll probably stick to what I have now.
