After my Antigravity Pro trial, I noticed that while Sonnet and Gemini Pro capped quickly, Gemini 3 Flash felt effectively infinite and performance-wise, the model is actually quite capable. It isn't necessarily built for massive one-shot complexity, but if you leverage a skill like "superpowers" or "brainstorming," it can handle some surprisingly difficult tasks that usually require more robust models.

I’ve ran Flash 3 it across multiple projects at full throttle and only managed to exhaust its capacity once, and even then, I was just 20 minutes away from it's refresh window. Now that my Antigravity trial has ended, I’ve signed up for Codex based on recommendations regarding their generous token allowances. However, I haven’t found a single model in the Codex ecosystem that offers that "infinite" sensation; they all seem to consume tokens for breakfast.

Which OpenAI model on Codex is most similar to Gemini 3 Flash in terms of being nearly unrestricted while remaining competent? Should I be looking at GPT-5.4 or GPT-5.2? I’ve actually found that Gemini Flash 3 out-delivers GPT-5.5 at times. I’m not entirely sure why, but 5.5 often leaves me disappointed while Flash 3 continues to kindly surprise me with its reliability.
