In saying, “Know that it is I who have brought you to this land, my home…” does Strahd speak honestly or is this a lie? How does this statement, if true, fit in the way the mists function or the dark powers operate?
Does Strahd broadly lie to achieve his goals or, does he, as a lawfully aligned nobleman and gentleman, consider falsehoods to be beneath him?
