Weirdly enough I thought of this question while watching a TikTok about a girls leg that was amputated and incinerated at her request. How do things just disappear? Do the atoms drift away into the air? Is everything just converted into coal? Are there different processes of where the thing that’s burnt goes to if it’s a different material? I am so curious
