When I was in elementary school, our library had a set of 5(?) short encyclopedia style books about crypitids. Each book was about a 1/4 inch think, they werent very long. They each depicted a different cryptid. I remember clearly a Sasquatch one and a UFO alien one (maybe a chupacabra one?) All books had the same style, cream/white hardcover with a rectangle image in the center of the cover with an image of that cryptid. They weren't illustrations on the cover, but a photo. The interior was text heavy, but had full color photos. I would have checked them out around 2006, but the books seemed older (maybe mid 90s?)
