Repair or Replace

Hi folks. Have had this bike for about 10 years probably. I use it to commute and to ride NYC Central Park. In those ten years I have never replaced the chain, derailers, or chain rings.

It definitely doesn’t ride like it used to. In inspecting it, I think the chain rings are worn down. I am not savvy with bikes and I’m not sure if I should

  1. Repair. Maybe grease the chain or something.

  2. Replace the all those chain/derailer/chain ring parts. Not sure how I would do this, I would need to go to a shop and figure out which to buy.

  3. Just buy a new bike. This one has had a good go. Maybe just start fresh.

Any advice or insight greatly appreciated.
