UoN invalid unit
Has anyone ever experienced such a problem in UoN or any other public university? I had an invalidated unit that caused me to miss out on graduation in September and December last year. I was never told why it was removed; it was just removed from my transcripts and it took me a while to notice since I already had my transcripts with all the units I sat for. I had the marks for that unit for over one and a half years.
I have followed up with the department so many times since September last year. The lecturer's records show my marks and it is up to the examinations officer to validate the unit but it is yet to happen. I am normally told to fill in a missing mark form which is signed by the department chair and is to be collected or sent to the examination officer. I have done this 4 times since last year but the unit is still invalidated.
