I (22 F) am doing my first backpacking trip this summer with my boyfriend (29 M) from mid May to the end of June. We are going to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and then back to Southern Thailand. I’ve done a lot of solo and international travel before but I’ve never officially backpacked and I have struggled with overpacking in the past.

How do you girls usually pack for backpacking trips? I was thinking maybe to pack for 1 week of clothes, and then every week I can wash and mix and match different clothes. I’m also wondering like how much cute vs comfy clothes is reasonable to bring as well as shoes. Lastly, if there’s any brand suggestions for any specific items of clothing that would be great. TIA!!!!
