The theme for this weeks dreamsnap (In as far as I can understand it) is asking us to evoke an emotion via Inside out character coloring (bare bones explanation here but it has to do with my question/discussion) (I honestly feel like this is a discussion and a question)
Anyway…the description says:
“Is your Valley sunny like Joy, rainy like Sadness, or green like Envy? Bring BIG feels in this challenge with outfits, decor, effects, and pets to make an emotionally thematic pic!”
My problem here —> Are we limited to only the first inside out movie emotions? Would the community be accepting of emotions from Inside Out 2? Finally, and this is where I find I’m most confused (or hey! maybe i’m colorblind?!)—> The primary color green is assigned to the emotion Disgust (Themed after broccoli). Envy is small and is Teal colored and is lacking in things like 5 fingers a nose etc. These are 2 very different emotions and colorings to me.
If i did a True green build I feel like the emotion I should portray is disgust. If i were to portray envy I’d go to SBV and use teal/blue-green/aquamarine colors. Right?! right? I don’t know!!!! What do you guys think? should we just roll with green being envy or step out on a ledge and go with the correct colors in the Inside Out universe?
