Hi! This community seems friendly and open to occasionally help a newbie out, so allow me to submit a couple pieces I would like to sell for your appraisal:
I have had them for 15 years or so, have worn them very little and they are in great condition, although the boxes show some signs of use. I am not looking to make a big profit or anything like that, I just have no idea what they are worth and would like to post them up with a coherent and fair selling price. 😅
I have an irisdescent tear drop necklace and earrings set, which, when I look online, seems to be worth about the same as it's purchase price (about 65 CAD for the earrings, and 75 CAD for the necklace, unless I'm way off?).
But the second piece, the chunky heart pendant, I am a bit stumped by... I don't know what it was originally worth, and for years I just couldn't find it online. Today, a Google image search finally lead me to a Japanese Amazon page, where it was listed for about 46 000 yen, which is about 400 CAD or 295 USD. Does that make any sense?? Or is it because of the geographic context of the sale? What affects the value of Swarovski pieces the most, generally?
