Road Trip with 6 Week Old

Hi Parents

I know about the 2 hour car seat rule but our daughter was born premature at 35 weeks so she is technically 2 weeks adjusted. Should we be preparing for more stops than 2 hours? And is this with a 30 minute break at the 2 hour mark?

Unfortunately we can’t get out of this trip as it’s to look at houses for a job relocation. I’m an anxious first time mom and overwhelmed by the conflicting info! Some say half hour before a break and some research says 2 hours. For reference the drive is about 4 1/2- 5 hours.

Hi EPers! I am a new mom 5 weeks pp and due to a premie baby and her tiny little mouth, have found myself exclusively pumping since she was born. We are currently finding ourselves in a growth spurt and little girl is starting to have a ferocious appetite that I am struggling to keep up with.

I am pumping anywhere from 70-100 mls, but she consistently takes 90 mls, sometimes 100.

How do I tell my body that we gotta step it up? I am assuming with a breast fed baby this might be more intuitive since they are communicating with the breast directly? I am already pumping for 30 minutes every time she eats with my blue Spectra which is about every 3 hours, sometimes 2 during the day, and a few nights I have gone 4 hours on accident. I will say sometimes I get caught up and go past 3 hours by 10/15 minutes- not sure if this is hurting my supply in the long run?
