I’m 55/f I need to lose about 30 pounds. I’ve been on keto about 19 days now. Not one cheat meal, less than 20 carbs. Reading every label of nutrition beforehand to be sure I’m not eating a carb I don’t want. I lost 5 pounds the first week and nothing since.
Today I’ve eaten salmon 2xs, broccoli 2xs, I put a little bit of cheese on the broccoli. I drank about 30 oz of LMNT for electrolytes. Plus water additional water . I had one premier shake.
I work second shift so I make everything a head of time so I stay focused.
I’m using the carb manager app to help. I’m close to hitting my macros. I measured my self to find the right numbers. I also weigh all my food so I’m not under or over eating. The scale isn’t moving I just want to know is this ideal meals and I will eventually get there. I’ve given up trying in the past because I didn’t lose but I didn’t check labels etc like I do now.
Any tips would be appreciated. I only eat two meals a day and two snacks because of my work schedule. I don’t want to eat much when I get home and then sleep two hours later or sooner.
